  • This is a pale Rosé, and has the floral, aromatic qualities I look for, namely soft strawberry and red fruit notes, a touch of pear and lime or lemon. The palate is fulsome without being weighty and the acid and sugar should be in complete balance. The key component of Rosé is freshness, and the bottle and your glass are the best places for this.
  • Fine, persistent bead, with small bubbles. Crisp, a slight dried apple, orange peel nose with biscuit and toast elements.
  • More perfumed and dramatic than our Estate bottling, with glorious rich red fruit, full ripe palate and tannins that are more melded. At this stage, the floral spice notes on the nose and complex tannins with a judicious touch of acid are indicative of decent cellaring potential.
  • Pale and lightly hued. Elegant, perfumed spice, berries and oak notes. Complex aromas - not a simple one fruit trick pony, this wine has developed and developing characters. Warm entry on the palate, with typical Martinborough arresting tannins and a hint of acid. The oak and tannin interplay on the back palate suggest this wine is for special meals based on the hunting calendar.
  • Typical Martinborough in that the fruit has the hallmark savoury element; plum skins and dark berry fruits, combined with mellowed French oak.
